Back in Antigua

   We arrived in Antigua today around 2pm and spent the remainder of the day shopping in the market.  The week in Rio Dulce finished up well.  We were able to complete both the well and the mural in the chapel. We also made a lot of good progress on the tilapia pond and had two successful days with the medical clinic.  We all went out to dinner tonight.  Tomorrow morning, some of us will be going on a volcano tour and then relaxing for the rest of the day.      We will be arriving in three separate groups to Chicago.  Rides have been arranged up to the Milwaukee area.  We will be in contact during our layover in Houston for any further arrangements that might be needed once in Milwaukee.

   I just wanted to let you know I'm doing great.  I'm healthy and getting a lot of work done.  I had a little minor sprain on my ankle during an intense game of futbol.  I'm recovering fine.  I'm keeping you in my prayers.  I'm exited to see you.

Day 5

   We just finished our third day of work at the school, INSPA, in Rio Dulce.  We have the altar platform completed in the chapel and the background of the mural has been painted. 
    The well has been started which gave many of us an excuse to dig in the mud!  We dug and tracked the spring water source down about six feet.  We are planning to roll and set two large concrete tubes (6 feet in diameter) to contain our spring water.  We also started our pond project where they will raise tilapia. 
    It is very hot and sunny here, everyone is well. 

Safe in Rio Dulce

We are all here and safe in Rio Dulce.  We are staying in a large 20 person dorm now and for the next seven days.  We will be starting our projects tomorrow morning and will hopefully be posting pictures in the next couple days.

We all arrived safely and are in the hotel in Antigua

We will be having dinner tonight at the hotel (lasagna!).  We will be leaving tomorrow bright and early for our 6 hour bus ride to Rio Dulce.  We will attempt to post as often as possible, but internet availability is not always reliable.

There are three prepaid cell phones with the group that can be used to reach us in cases of emergency.
